About Our Homestead
Back in 2023, my journey started with a lifelong love for dogs. Growing up, I was always surrounded by Beagles and Dachshunds, and let me tell you, there ain’t nothing like the loyalty and charm of a good dog. When it came time to bring home a new pup, I figured I’d go with a Beagle, but, well—God had other plans, and you know how that goes.

I always admired Dalmatians—something about them just caught my eye. Whether it was seeing them run alongside fire trucks or in the old-school 101 Dalmatians, they had this mix of dignity and wild energy that stuck with me. The more I read up on them, the more I knew—this was my breed, no doubt about it.

But I wasn’t about to go about it the wrong way. I took my time, did my homework, and learned real quick about backyard breeders and puppy mills—no, that wasn’t for me. I wanted to do things right, not just own a Dalmatian, but truly understand the breed, show them, and get involved.

One of my high school teachers—who’s big into showing Pembroke Welsh Corgis and Dandie Dinmont Terriers—pointed me toward a Breeder of Merit out in Kansas. That right there? Changed everything. Next thing I knew, I had my first Dalmatian, and from that moment on, I was all in.

Here at Br. Bryant’s Prairie Dals, I stand by health, education, responsibility, and tradition. These dog ain’t just pretty faces—they’re champions, therapy dogs, working dogs, and above all, family.

So, if you love the breed like I do, come along for the ride—let’s celebrate the history, the spirit, and the legacy of the Dalmatian together.
